The way we are made requires many parts. However, a small rudder guides a large ship. So it is with the tongue. We have a large heart, but a small tongue expresses life or death. James, the brother of Jesus, tells us it cannot be true that we curse and bless with the same tongue, from the same heart. Jesus said that whatever comes out of us, that is what is in our heart.

There is unprecedented opportunity. There is unparalleled risk. More people live today than in all of history. Perhaps half of all humans ever are alive today. There are billions of sheep and they are harassed and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd; and they are hungry. Develop a network.

“So, the preparation is to want My change, not fight it; to embrace the new things I am doing and in new ways. Some will disagree. That is like the group in a bike race called the Peleton. It is safe to ride in that group. However, no one can win the race in the peleton. The winners must break out. That is not “safe” the way it feels, but it gives freedom to those who are willing to go away from the place called “safe” that is really a prison.”
