God’s Presence is the Kingdom-WFJ

19 September 2009 6 Comments

This is some of my private journal this morning I felt I should share with you. I have been on a partial fast for a few weeks so that is some of this and the voice speaking is God’s to me as I hear it in my mind:

“Relax, haven’t you enjoyed the fast? It is good for you. Now listen: Prepare for a harvest. Get your shoes on. These feet were made for walking. These feet are the beautiful feet that carry the Good News.

“People are starving. Pack a load and carry it to them! I have run off the “monsters in the forest”–the things that threaten and scare you. No time in history has been like this time. Come to me, sit in my presence, then carry that to the masses. That is what they want.

They crave my presence but do not understand what it is they crave; they’ve never experienced it. NO COMPARISON. You have to take it to them. Bob, this is the Kingdom of Heaven and this is the Gospel of the Kingdom–My Presence; My Fellowship.

All of their troubles, sorrows and needs vanish in My Presence. Yet, they are afraid of it-the very thing they crave. Carry it anyway. Some will advance onto the mountain and climb up to me; and those will be very glad indeed.” (September 19, 2009, 7:00 AM)

I think this is a word for everyone. ~Bob

Your Twitter followers are proof of that, they are clearly hungry for what God is sharing through you.

I am encouraged to spend more time in the Lord’s presence feasting on what He would say to me.

If any of your reader’s are unfamliar with this way of hearing God I highly recommend they download the first chapter of Dr Randy Peck’s book, Uncommon Journaling, it’s free

God bless you Bob! This is what the Lord has been telling Me over and over! “Come to Me, sit in My presence, then carry that to the masses. That is what they want. They crave My presence, but do not understand what it is…”

It’s so true,Bob: “No time in history has been like this time!” Exactly what He told me in “WFJ: A famine in the land!” (see http://renatoamato.com/en/wfj-a-famine-in-the-land/ ).

People are starving for God’s rivers of living waters, and it is our commission to make sure that it gets to them!

    Hi Lynne,
Your comment about the journal is a key. One day years ago an epiphany ocurred in
    e. I realized that just as in the garden the Lord still walks and talks. It was just not in a way I entirely expected. So the epiphany, the permanent sudden unerstanding, was that it was as if I was throwing away the most I
portant things I my life: God’s profound comment day to day of my life and His heart concerning.

I also realized that we were to declare from one generation to another the works of God. So I added a diary to a standard list of disciplines taught for believers. My 9-11 post was partially from journal notes from the wilderness taken on 3×5 thin paper in a dark tent. That is how seriously I take the treasure of God’s presence and His fellowship. So thank you for the reminder about Randy Peck whom I have named “the journal guy” as he is one of the few voices for what I just described.

    Bob,

I’m so encouraged to hear that you keep a journal! That makes me think I’m not as fargone as I thought, since I’ve kept a journal off and on for years. As I begin my spiritual journey anew, I am thankful to God that he has put believers like yourself in my path, to serve as an example of how to walk with Christ.
    Thank you.
