I Bless You

7 September 2009 4 Comments

It is a holiday in the U.S.A. and the Lord kept me up late to post this for Labor Day 2009. Have a great feast today. So, some of you were sent to read it?

I dreamed of a man. He wore a black well tailored sport coat. He was very fit and very muscular and strong, but not young. His hair was blonde perhaps but now silver. He did not have on a suit as you might expect, because he was a preacher and a pastor. This was odd to me. I knew him very well from way back in the dream. It turned out we were old friends. But in real life, I have not met him before. I know of him only through a family member on Twitter and the family occasionally visit this site!

The importance: he had gone through some difficult times in his church and was still strong but needed encouragement and fellowship with other faithful veterans. I am saying to you I think this dream signifies two things 1) That this man is going to be a preacher in a new way, in the marketplace. He had on light colored pants and a black jacket. He is not a pastor in the classical sense I am told. I sense from my past that this black/white is the mixing of the world and the believers in the marketplace; 2) Some Christians meeting on the social internet sites are being formed into an Army of seasoned veterans of the war-he is an example. My job is to facilitate this muster. Welcome to those of you who know you are in it!

Thirdly, it was as if we were friends for 30 years. This new “family” God forming is going to be well met, fun, exciting and very fruitful. Feast Days are for forming Community: bonds of love. That is why I think this dream came for today. Listen to the song on this link in my site-it is short and is my blessing personally to you.  Listen to the words. It is one way this army is formed!! Let it soak in my friends. Click link now–>  I Bless You, a Song,

Or go to the “Welcome” menu on the banner, then pull-down menu, second choice “God’s Vision.” The song plays automatically. If you cannot hear it, email me at bahamabob@me.com.

    Bob,
Very interesting post. I too have dreamed about people I have never met. As a matter of fact,I have had dreams about people that I have never even seen before. Not even a picture. I had visions of them in my mind. Some I have come to meet later in life and others were revealed to me thru photographs, although perhaps not in person. It’s very enlightening to see just how enhanced dreams can be when there are no pre-set physical limitations to deter the mind from going into the far corners of REM sleep.

Once again, I thank you for blessing me with your blog post and a very beautiful song to go with it.

    With Gratitude,
    Melinda

Hi Melinda, I know from expereience not to ignore these “dreams” of people I do not know. On my birthday four years ago I dreamed of a woman being treated by a German doctor. I could have ignored that God was calling me to interceed or pray for someone. I prayed for the people in the dream. Two years or more later I met a woman in Germany who asked me what I was doing that particular date (my birthday.) I keep an extensive journal of my dreams, visions and prayers and I told her. She had planned to kill herself that day. She asked God, “Give me a reason not to kill myself.” He did, and now she is thriving as a believer and has a great life! God gives us these communications about others for many reasons, but one is for prayer. It is just his way of talking to some people, I learned. Bob
