He said if we do not do this He will bring a curse upon the earth!! He means it friends. He wants love expressed in family groups-community restoration.

One day I was horrified. I saw a garden snake. It had just gripped a bird attempting to fly the nest yet it failed. It grabbed the bird, sitting on the ground, by the head into its jaws.. but I saved it…The flying of the nest is a hinge event. I think we are going through this as believers today. People feel lost, attacked, abandoned…This is what favor looks and feels like-peril then power.

I am going to send out several short blogs this week. This first one is clear. He is not going to allow us to get away with things we once did; using our own strategies, serving our own selfish desires or ignoring God’s agenda for mine–that is over. If we do not press in and ask God what his agenda is and do it, we will be left behind. This is not about just the little things. He is speaking about offering our bodies as a living sacrifice daily for use by Him. Now. People who do not do this will be bitterly disappointed. The ones who do will be delighted beyond measure.

As I sat down on the plane, in what seemed like an uneventful day, I heard the very quiet voice of God say, “There is an angel on the airplane.” It is easy to ignore God’s voice, normally quiet and still. He often insults our intelligence and our worldview. Yet, I listened this time.

Expect more from God. That is the message from God today.
He is God. He is awesome, powerful and majestic, yet loving, gentle and kind beyond words. Ask Him for things but also expect them. As you get to know him, you will know what He might not give that you ask for and what He will give. Dare to believe God for something really big, especially if you sense His favor, His desire for it. It was once said, “If you sense the favor of God, go for the jugular.”
